I think that this is an excellent question and I thank you for your submission. I think that people are naturally more Dominant or submissive or a combination of both. I am actually in that combination area however in this context we are discussing my submissive tendencies.
I had realized for years that I had submissive tendencies. In my previous relationship, I was the Dom though we were both supposed to switch. I also knew that I did not trust that person enough to let go of my control and as such my submissive side went largely unexplored.
Then I met Daddy and that all changed. From the beginning, our first kiss in fact, He took control and I felt safe with Him. I recall the first time I went to His place, saw His bed with the ropes on the 4 posts and knew that I was in the right place. I have a natural desire to serve Him, to submit to Him and to take pride in doing that well. That being said, I believe in always learning and I strive to do better every day in my submission to Him.
I think that the desire to submit and serve comes naturally but that being good at it takes time, learning and practice.
