i am not the kind of submissive that those books ever list either…
i think that i fall into a “Daddy’s submissive little slave girl” category…
if we have to label it; in reality, we do what works for us
that is a beautiful thing about this lifestyle, finding what works best for you
and doing just that!
I know I am a submissive.
But I don’t know what kind of a submissive I am.
I’m reading this (slightly outdated) book about submissives and Dominants calledThe Q Letters, wherein the author outlines several different archetypes of various submissives. I was distressed that I found myself not really fitting into any of the ones mentioned.
A lot of the women mentioned in the book are subs who are mostly after pain. They want to be spanked or slapped, and the focus is physical.
But I relate strongly to Lee in a lot of ways, and I think I would model myself after her submissiveness more than any of those mentioned in this book.
Just thinking of four peas makes me breathless…
I’m much more of a psychological sub, and am certainly more service oriented. It turns me on to receive orders or to have my control taken from me. Things like being told what to wear, or when I’m allowed to speak do more for me than paddling ever will. I like to be hurt out of punishment, and sometimes for seemingly no reason other than that he feels like it.
I like to be called and treated like a slut as much as I like to be patted on the head and told that I’m a good girl.
I could go on and on, defining my similarities with Lee (of which there are actually quite a few, even beyond our shared sexual submissivness), but you get the drift.
